Questions about hotel cleaning quotes

The scope (room types, what counts as a check-out and a stayover clean, public areas, the quality standard and who inspects), separate prices for check-out and stayover rooms, the Sunday and holiday premium, how prices change when wages rise, and whether prices exclude VAT. Add the daily routine (room list, start times, who supplies linen and chemicals, named contacts) and the contract terms. The checklist above walks through each point.

If your costs follow a collective wage, it usually makes sense. In Germany, building cleaning has its own sector minimum wage set by collective agreement. A fixed room price without an adjustment clause means you carry every wage increase until the contract ends. A common approach is to name the wage the price is based on and how the price moves when that wage changes. How the clause is worded is a matter for your contract; this is general information, not legal advice.

It can be. Under § 13 MiLoG with § 14 AEntG, a business that hands on to another company a service it owes itself, for example to its own customers, can be liable like a guarantor if that company does not pay its staff the minimum wage. Whether a hotel's cleaning contract falls under this depends on the individual case. That is why many hotels ask for evidence that the sector minimum wage is paid, and a quote that already explains how you document it answers the question early. This is general information, not legal advice for your case.
