Housekeeping software for cleaning companies: common questions
Yes. Rooms are paid at the planned time for each task, so a checkout planned at 30 minutes pays 30 minutes whether it took 24 or 36. Lobby, kitchen and dish-line work runs as hourly shifts with a set break, paid on the approved hours. Both kinds of work sit in the same payroll run for that person.
Planned minutes times the hourly rate. At 30 minutes and €15.00 an hour, a checkout pays €7.50. The rate is taken from the most specific level that is set: the employee in that hotel, then the hotel, then the employee group, then the company. On a holiday or special day the pay multiplier applies, 1.5 unless you change it.
Oracle Opera, including Opera Cloud. The hotel sends its XML reports by email to its own ARPCLEAN address or uploads them, and the rooms and the day's tasks are built from them. For any other PMS you can start by entering tasks by hand, and we build the connection for your company at no extra charge.
Every task a housekeeping manager signs off becomes one invoice line for the hotel and one pay line for the employee. VAT is 19% by default and can be set to inclusive, exclusive or exempt. Payroll exports come as CSV, Excel and PDF and as a DATEV booking file. Connections to Exact, LANDWEHR (zvoove) and SAP are set up at no extra charge.
Yes. Taps are stored on the phone and sent as soon as the connection is back. The app runs in 13 languages, and notes on a task are translated into each reader's language.
Yes. The hotel gets a link that opens a live room board without a login. From it, reception can switch a room between stay and checkout, flag a rush room, or record that a guest skips the clean.
